Anna Aglatova is a leading soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre, one of the most popular Russian singers in the world, where she currently performs the leading roles in almost all the opera calendar of the Bolshoi Theatre’s repertoire.

Becoming the youngest soloist of the Bolshoi Opera Company at the time, Aglatova’s talent has also seen her win one of the most prestigious competitions in the world of young singers - the “Neue Stimmen”. She has performed at some of the most famous concert venues around the world, including the Salle Pleyel in Paris, Megaron Moussikis in Athens, Musikverein in Vienna, Seoul Arts Center in Seoul, Lincoln Center in New York, and National Palace of Culture in Sofia.

Anna is equally suited to both lyrical and comedic parts, with her varied repertoire including the roles of Mikaela (“Carmen”), Suzanne (“Wedding of Figaro”), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni Mozart), Rosina (“The Barber of Seville” Rossini), Manon in the opera Manon Massena, and Cleopatra (Julius Caesar Handel), among many others.

Throughout her career, Aglatova has performed with a number of seminal conductors, including Vladimir Spivakov, Evelino Pido, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Enrique Mazzola, to name a few. She has also shared the stage with many distinguished singers, such as Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Jose Carreras, René Pape, Carlo Lepore, David Hansen, and many others.

Aglatova’s acting talent has been highly appreciated by Russian critics, who have twice nominated her for the national “Golden Mask” award in the “Best female role in an opera” category. In 2014, she was also awarded the title of Laureate of the State Prize of the President of Russia for her contribution to the development of Culture.
